Two golf fashion firms are set to sponsor the first World Golf Forum

Golf fashion firms Glenmuir and Sunderland are set to lend their support to the first ever St Andrews World Golf Forum this October.

Scheduled to be held at the Scores Hotel, the event will see leading figures in the sport gather to discuss innovations and ideas that can promote and develop the game.

Glenmuir will provide golf clothing to staff organising the event, while Sunderland is set to supply attendees with its Weatherbeaters.

Colin Mee, managing director for Glenmuir, explained that St Andrews is a particularly suitable location as it is the home of golf.

"As proud Scottish golf brands, Glenmuir and Sunderland are delighted to be supporting this important event, which should be a dynamic environment, in which leaders …. can debate current issues" he said.

Earlier in the month, Glenmuir unveiled its new range of belts, which are specially designed to complement a number of outfits in its existing collections.
